Lingerie should not only look amazing it should feel amazing. As such, it’s imperative that it fits just right. All our lingerie varies slightly to standard Australian sizes. We have listed product measurements for each specific item, cross-reference these with our online size guide and you should be able to decipher an accurate idea of your size. It’s better to be cheap here than in the bedroom. When finalising your order in PayPal (as a guest or using your PayPal account), you will be prompted for your credit card details and shipping information. Once you have added this information click review and continue. Review your order summary in PayPal (make sure your shipping information is correct), click continue and you'll be directed to our secure checkout page, now you can enter your discount code and select your shipping method.
We do indeed, choosing what others want is fun, but sometimes difficult. Our beautiful gift vouchers have a 12-month expiry date allowing for ongoing gratification.
They cannot be used to buy more gift vouchers, have no cash redemption value, and are not transferable or assignable.
We understand that sometimes you want a little more; if the order amount exceeds your gift voucher’s value, the balance can easily be paid by Paypal or credit card.
The more the better, right? One or more gift vouchers can be redeemed against an order. And yes, you can combine a gift voucher with a promotion code or other offer.

There is nothing worse than not getting what you want, but if you’re not quick some items do sell out. If you miss out, be sure to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will place you on our wait-list. When we get a new shipment we will notify you immediately. Remember, good things come to those who wait. If you see something you like from one of our suppliers that we don’t stock we would be more than happy to put in a special order for you.
We accept payment via Paypal and all major credit cards including VISA, Mastercard, and American Express.
We trade in secrets, remember? Your security while shopping with Porte-à-Vie is extremely important to us. We have taken all reasonable measures to ensure that your credit card and personal details are kept safe at all times. All pages that require personal information or payment details on our website are secure and you will find our trust badge on our home page that authenticates this.
Don’t worry you can start playing, right away. At Porte-à-Vie we don’t want to keep you waiting; if the product you purchase requires batteries they will be supplied. However, most of our toys can be charged. A care card is also included with particular items.
Our standard rate for all orders shipped within Australia is $15 and our international flat rate is $39. This may be subject to change depending on special delivery zones and requirements. If your delivery is urgent (we know the feeling) please let us know and we can organise express postage at an additional cost. Please note, from time to time, we offer free delivery as a promotion.
The waiting game is hard. We try to make it as pain free as possible. For all domestic deliveries you can expect to receive your order by standard delivery within 3-10 working days (from time of order) depending on where you are located in Australia. Express shipping is within 1-2 working days (from time of order).
For all international orders you should receive your order within 10-14 days (from time of order). Porte-à-Vie is a small growing business - we do our very best to get our orders out to our customers as quickly and affordably as possible. We know you have big plans for your purchases.
Desire has no geographical limitations, as such Porte-à-Vie currently ships domestically within Australia and to almost all destinations worldwide. You can double check if we deliver to your area by emailing us at email@example.com.
Porte-à-Vie uses Australia Post for all local shipments and courier DHL for all our international orders. If only the postmen knew what they were delivering.
Custom policies vary from country to country, with this in mind you may be subject to overseas custom duties and/or other taxes. If such costs do occur, they are payable by the recipient. To minimise any unwanted surprises please be sure to check with your local customs office for further information prior to finalising your purchase.
At Porte-à-Vie we know it’s the little details that make all the difference. Providing a premium experience is our top priority, that’s why each and every purchase comes beautifully wrapped in a Porte-à-Vie branded box or bag. Furthermore, to ensure customer privacy, we wrap the branded packages in discrete, plain packaging. Nosy neighbours need not know what happens under your roof.
At Porte-à-Vie we understand your needs and desires may change. Therefore you can add and remove said desires from your shopping bag by removing the item from 'my bag' at any time. Once your order has been finalised however, it’s not possible to change or cancel your order prior to dispatch. You know how hard it is to stop yourself going over the edge, well once you click through, that’s us. Your order will be automatically sent to the delivery address and then if necessary, you will need to arrange to return it to Porte-à-Vie Head Office. Our returns policy outlines this process.
At Porte-à-Vie, we always want you to be delighted with your purchases. We understand however that sometimes what arrives may not meet your expectations or you may need to exchange lingerie for a different size. We do offer returns and exchanges providing the following criteria are met:
Please note that we are unable to offer exchanged on items that have been used sexually or intimate toys for hygiene reasons. Please ensure you wear underwear when trying on your lingerie, as we cannot accept returns on lingerie that has been worn or is returned in a soiled condition. Once packs have been opened, we cannot accept returns on hosiery, body products including lubricant and massage oils, DVDs and books. We do not give refunds on gift vouchers.
Unfortunately we are unable to refund the initial postage costs on all domestic or international orders.The customer must cover shipping costs unless the product is proven faulty in which case we will readily refund the associated costs of postage. Please note we will not refund items returned as faulty, that have not previously been reported as faulty.
There are strictly no returns or refunds on sale items.
If a product is faulty, unfit for purpose, not as described, or of an unsatisfactory quality we will, of course, offer a full refund.
If you wish to return a purchase for refund please email firstname.lastname@example.org. In the email please forward or attach a copy of your purchase receipt and tell us the reason for your return. You will then be sent a returns authorisation form with further details on how to return the item to Porte-à-Vie Head Office. Please ensure that the returns authorisation form is included in the return package. A refund will be made by crediting your account via your original method of payment, excluding delivery costs.
We recommend any returns are sent via recorded or registered mail, as we cannot accept responsibility for any items lost in the post. Any goods returned from outside of Australia must be clearly marked on customs declaration as “RETURNS” to prevent customs charges being incurred. Failure to do this will result in Porte-à-Vie reserving the right to refuse the product, or re-charge all associated costs back to you. Caring for your lingerie correctly is very important. It’s not fun if you only get to use it once. Handle everything with care and always follow the instructions on the label.
Here are a few tips we have for looking after your delicates:
Regular cleaning is key to maintaining the quality of your toys. Be sure to wash them before you use them for the first time, and immediately after each use. Air dry, and then pop it back into its hiding place for storage.
Always be careful to keep water and cleansers away from battery cartridges and electrical parts. Unwanted shocks are not what we’re after. Never boil sex toys with electrical components. The safest way to clean most of your toys is to use antibacterial cleanser. The pH-balanced formula is designed to keep your toy immaculate whilst being sensitive to your skin on its next use. Please remember that as sex toys touch very intimate areas of your body, it’s extremely important to know whether you have any allergies or sensitivities to certain cleansers or materials prior to use. We recommend LELO antibacterial toy cleaner If you’re not sure, we highly recommend that you do an allergy test on a small patch of skin, such as your wrist, before using any product.
